Buffalo Sabres Player Grades: Evander Kane

Buffalo Sabres left winger Evander Kane‘s first season with his new team was peppered with injuries.

His injury troubles began in late October, when he suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his left knee. Though it didn’t require surgery, Kane was out for nearly a month.

He then suffered an upper-body injury in late March that kept him out for the last nine games of the Buffalo Sabres’ regular season.

But when the Buffalo Sabres forward was in the lineup, he seemed to be on point.

In the end, Kane put up 35 points in 65 games with the Buffalo Sabres, including 20 goals – one of just four players on the team to hit that number – and 15 assists.
