I’m not trying to be sarcastic when I asked fans to raise their hands – some of you did predict that the Buffalo Sabres would make a run once they got healthy, and even though I have been (and still am) skeptical about Buffalo’s chances of finishing the season in the playoffs, I did outline a scenario in which the Sabres could become buyers if their front office felt like the playoffs were a legitimate possibility.
