Tonight the Buffalo Sabres will wrap up a four game road trip in Motown. The 25th overall Detroit Red Wings will be hosting the 24th overall Buffalo Sabres for the final time in the Joe Louis Arena. Both Atlantic Division “rivals” are out of the playoff hunt, so for all intents and purposes, it will be a glorified exhibition game.
My buddy Al drove out to Michigan this past weekend for tonight’s game. When I talked to him last week, he said, “I’m going out to Detroit Rock City to catch the last Sabres game at the Joe.
