This offseason saw a number of players and personnel change over to new NHL teams, with some changes I never expected to see, such as David Backes no longer wearing a Blues’ uniform or the New Jersey Devils somehow convincing the Edmonton Oilers to give up Taylor Hall; but lucky for me, with these players now in the Eastern Conference, I’ll get to watch them play more often.
Though the Buffalo Sabres roster saw minimal changes, the team most certainly benefitted as a whole in taking a step forward in terms of experience, as they’re still a fairly young team.
