Sabres sign Brendan Guhle to a three-year, entry level deal

The Sabres second-round pick can only play in Buffalo or Canadian juniors next season.

The Sabres now have their top two selections from this year's draft under contract - but this signing comes with a bit less fanfare. Buffalo has signed their second-round pick from 2015, Brendan Guhle, to his three-year entry-level deal according to Renaud Lavoie.

Guhle scored five goals and 27 assists in 72 games with Price Albert of the WHL last season. The Sabres, who noted that they were impressed with his combine numbers, selected him with the 51st overall pick.

Since Guhle is only 17-years-old and he is signed to a contract with a CHL team, he cannot play for Rochester until he is 20.
