Buffalo Sabres Hire Russ Brandon As Team President

The Buffalo Sabres have mutually agreed to part ways with President Ted Black, and have hired Russ Brandon to serve as the team’s new president, the team announced via press release Monday.

Brandon will become President and Alternate Governor of the Buffalo Sabres. He also serves as Managing Partner and President of the Buffalo Bills – of course, a team also owned by Buffalo Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula, and will continue to maintain that position.

With his new position, Brandon will have to do double duty, overseeing business operations for both the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres.
