CLEVELAND, OH – Senior Amber Hatchett and sophomore Megan Wernette were named to the Academic All-MAC team, the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Hatchett, a fifth-year senior who is currently in UB's nursing school, finished fourth on the team in kills with 145, playing in 27 matches and 100 sets for the Bulls. She also finished the year with 51 total blocks. She had a season-high 14 kills against St. Francis and 12 kills and just two errors against Akron.
Wernette had a breakout season for the Bulls in 2016 as she set career highs in every category.
