BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo track and field head coach Vicki Mitchell has announced the hiring of Kelly Truppo as a part-time assistant coach. A 2015 University at Buffalo graduate and stand-out pole vaulter, Truppo will serve as assistant coach for pole vault.
"I am excited to welcome Kelly back in a new capacity with the UB track and field team," Mitchell said. "She brings extensive knowledge of the pole vault and experience in the Mid-American Conference which is arguably one of the strongest pole vault conferences in the NCAA."
During her undergraduate career, Truppo set personal bests of 13'5.
