ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- After his Buffalo Bills' defense finished a disappointing 19th in yards allowed in 2015, coach Rex Ryan wasn't shy about making a prediction in August about where his defense would finish this season.
"I see the big picture. I also see this defense is improving," Ryan said Aug. 17. "I've said it from Day 1: we're going to be better. We will definitely be better than we were last year, in my opinion. Regardless of those [injuries and suspension], this defense will be better."
Through 12 games, it is debatable whether Ryan's defense has improved since last season.
