INDIANAPOLIS -- Doug Marrone’s two-year tenure as Buffalo’s head coach included the Bills’ only winning record since 2004.
It also included a surprising decision to walk away after 2014, which he said he now realizes was a mistake. It was one of many he made with the Bills, he said Wednesday.
"I’m not going to sit up here and say, ‘No, it wasn’t,’" said Marrone, who was named the Jaguars’ head coach on Jan. 9. "Yeah, that’s definitely a big part of the learning process of wanting more time and things of that nature. Privately, I’ve talked to [Bills owner] Terry [Pegula] about that and he knows how I feel about it.
