Chest injury lands Cards OLB Woodley on IR

TEMPE, Ariz. -- LaMarr Woodley's season is over.

The Arizona Cardinals placed the veteran outside linebacker on injured reserve Thursday because of a chest injury and signed defensive tackle Red Bryant to fill his roster spot.

Woodley played in all 10 games this season and tallied 10 tackles with one sack. Woodley missed practice Wednesday, when Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he'd likely miss Sunday's game against San Francisco.

Bryant, who's in his seventh season, started all 16 games last year for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He finished with 22 tackles, including two for loss, a sack and a forced fumble.
