ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan hesitated Monday when asked if outside linebacker Shaq Lawson -- the team's first-round pick in April -- was ready to make his NFL debut this weekend against the Miami Dolphins, but those doubts disappeared by Thursday.
"I’ve seen enough," the Bills' coach said after practice. "He looks pretty darn good out there. He’s flying around and he looks like the guy that we drafted [and] the guy that we wanted him to be."
Lawson has spent the first six games of the regular season on the physically unable to perform list because of offseason surgery.
