Nets won’t measure season in wins and (lots and lots of) losses

The Nets had better make up for in accountability what they lack in ability.

When Brooklyn tips off training camp Tuesday, it will be as the team most experts and oddsmakers think will be the worst in the NBA. After winning just 21 games last season, and adding no star power to help Brook Lopez this offseason, how can they hope to take steps forward this coming season?

An attitude adjustment.

“It’s accountability. We have to hold ourselves accountable. We rely on each other to do that,” Lopez said. “We know we don’t have the most advantages, we know we’re not the most talented team or the most experienced team, so we have to pick it up in other ways.
