The Long Island Nets selected 12 players in the D-League expansion draft, led by Gary Forbes, the 31-year-old UMass product who was in Nets training camp their first year in Brooklyn and two other swingmen: Carrick Felix, a 6'6" former Cavalier draft pick who played for Cleveland and Utah, but hasn't played in a year because of a knee injury; and the well-traveled Jamaal Franklin, a 6'5" Grizzlies pick who averaged a triple double in China last season: 34 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He's already signed a Chinese contract for next season.
