A More Unnoticeable Way Trevor Booker is Helping on the Defensive End

Defense has been a major issue for the Brooklyn Nets so far this season. It’s rather common to see the team give up 110+ points in a game, and lack of defense is usually what costs them a game.

Despite all of this, one player who has not had issues on the defensive end is Trevor Booker.

By now, it’s well-known that Booker is the Nets’ best rebounder. The 29-year-old power forward leads Brooklyn with 8.3 rebounds per game. This isn’t too surprising considering Thaddeus Young led the Nets with nine rebounds per game last year, but it is impressive because Brooklyn has two 7-footers on the team.
