Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Bowling Green volleyball program unofficially kicked off the 2017 season with an exhibition match at Fort Wayne Saturday afternoon. The Falcons were able to down the Mastodons by a 3-2 score, while senior Nicole Slimko led the team with 22 kills on the day.
The Falcons started out strong by claiming the first two sets by scores of 25-22 and 25-17, respectively. Fort Wayne was then able to fight back to rebound by a 25-20 victory in the third game, followed by a narrow extra-point win in the fourth by 26-24.
