Original Release COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Bowling Green hockey's Tyler Spezia will compete on the world stage as he has been announced to the 14-man roster by USA Hockey for the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation Inline Hockey World Championship. It will be Spezia's third time competing at the event, after earning a bronze medal in 2014.
Taking place at the Ondrej Nepala Arena in Bratislava, Slovakia, this year's tournament will begin Sunday, June 25 as Team USA takes on host Slovakia at 12 p.m. eastern time. The U.S. will then face Canada and Croatia before the Quarterfinals begin on Thursday, June 29.
