Seven Falcon Hockey Players Invited to NHL Development Camps

Original Release BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A total of seven players from the Bowling Green hockey program were invited to participate in National Hockey League (NHL) Development Camps. Three returners to the program, including one incoming freshman, join three alumni of the program taking the next step towards the professional level.

Selected in the 2016 NHL Draft, junior defenseman Adam Smith joined the Nashville Predators, while as a 2015 draft pick sophomore goaltender Ryan Bednard participated in the Florida Panthers development camp.

Sophomore defenseman Alec Rauhauser was invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp as a free agent.
