Final Statistics: PDF | HTML (Coming Soon) ELON, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team pounded out a season-high 18 hits, but Elon University hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to steal a 12-11 victory from the Falcons on Thursday (May 18) night Latham Park.
Bowling Green out-hit Elon, 18-9, and led the entire game prior to the three-run home run. Jake Wilson recorded a career-high five hits in the loss. The rookie went 5-for-6 with two runs and an RBI.
"This is obviously one of the more difficult losses on the season," said head coach Danny Schmitz.
