Full results (.pdf) Columbus, Ohio – Junior Elizabeth Iversen won the shot put and the discus at the Jesse Owens Classic as the Bowling Green State University outdoor track and field team concluded the weekend at Ohio State University.
Iversen captured the team's 10th Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying bid of the 2017 season, doing so with a throw of 48-feet-8 (14.84m) to win the open shot put flight. That total equaled the program's 10 MAC auto bids from the 2016 season. Iversen also won the open discus throw flight, finished with a mark of 153-2.
