CINCINNATI — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team saw a three-game winning streak snapped in an 85-56 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday.
The Falcons (3-5) got 16 points from both Zack Denny and Wes Alcegaire.
Cincinnati (7-1) got 24 points from Kyle Washington, who made 11 of 13 field goals as the Bearcats outscored BG 54-20 in the paint.
Bowling Green trailed 15-13 before Cincinnati went on a 10-3 run to lead 25-16 with 7:01 left, and a 14-4 finish that included late 3s by Jacob Evans and Jenifer gave the Bearcats a 41-24 halftime lead.
