Official Release (MAC-Sports.com) Cleveland, Ohio –The Mid-American Conference recently concluded its 2017 Spring Meetings and following the Council of President's meeting, several new board appointments were announced.
Bowling Green State University President, Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey was elected Chair of the Council of Presidents, replacing Western Michigan University President, Dr. John M. Dunn, who served as Chair for the last four academic years.
"On behalf of the President's Council I want to thank Dr. Dunn for his leadership over the last four years," said Bowling Green State University President Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue advancing the Mid-American Conference while helping our student athletes succeed academically and in their sports.
