The Sox came into the final game of the series with the Yankees looking for a sweep. David Price was on the mound for the Sox and Eovaldi was pitching for the Yanks. Price struggled again, but the Sox offense was able to bail him out. The game went back and forth, but when all was said and done, the Sox came out on top.
The Sox scored a single run in the bottom of the 1st inning when Bogaerts hit an RBI groundout to score Betts. Price gave that run and then some back to the Yankees in the top of the 3rd.
