Now that it’s all over in Boston, Pablo Sandoval can say what he really feels.

Even if it hurts.

Sandoval was back in San Francisco on Saturday and spoke to reporters at AT&T Park about his minor league contract with the Giants and his decision to sign a five-year, $95-million deal with the Red Sox before 2015, just after winning his third World Series in the Bay Area.

The Giants were said to have offered Sandoval a contract at least that size.

In retrospect, Sandoval wishes he took it.

“(I was) emotional, a lot of things happened,” Sandoval told reporters in San Francisco, according to the Mercury News.
