Hanley Ramirez sits against another lefty; plus, Red Sox-Twins lineups

Another game facing a left-handed starter.

Another game with Hanley Ramirez on the bench.

Ramirez hasn't played since Sunday, when he was hit by a pitch. He's officially been out with knee soreness ever since. But the numbers suggest the Red Sox have little reason to rush him back into the mix, even against the left-handed pitchers who should be his bread and butter. Ramirez has hit just .143 with one home run in 35 at-bats against lefties this season. His OPS is more than .200 points higher against right-handers. Ramirez does not have reverse splits in his career.
