Three Former Eagles Chosen in 2016 CWHL Draft

Three BC women's hockey player's were chosen in Sunday's CWHL draft. All three were chosen by the Boston Blades, the only CWHL based in the USA.

Meghan Grieves was the first Eagle to go in the draft. Boston drafted her with their 4th round pick, the 16th pick overall. Grieves graduated from BC in 2016 after playing 4 full seasons for the Eagles. She had her best season as a senior, scoring a career high 11 goals and 13 assists. If Grieves signs with the Blades, all of the 2016 seniors will be playing professionally next year - Bender, Carpenter, Johnson, Skarupa, and Trivigno have all signed with NWHL teams.
