Men’s Tennis Falls to William & Mary, 5-2

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team opened the spring dual season with a 5-2 loss to William & Mary (2-1) at the Flynn Recreation Complex.

Freshman Alexander Chieffalo and junior Kent Mukai each won singles matches for the Eagles (0-1). Chieffalo, in his first-career dual season match, fought back after dropping the first set for a 7-5 second-set victory to force a tiebreaker. The freshman won the tiebreaker 12-10.

Mukai defeated William & Mary's Alec Miller 6-3, 6-4 for BC's first match point of the day.
