With top pick, free agency coming, Celtics roster will be changing

The most ground-shaking summer for Danny Ainge since he sent Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn for that treasure trove of first-round picks is probably at hand.

The Celtics appear poised to keep the top pick in the draft, and though Ainge insists he is contemplating “four or five” lottery prospects, the odds are that he picks Washington’s Markelle Fultz — a great overall scorer they believe can fit in with Isaiah Thomas, and eventually score enough to end the frustrating offensive droughts that have plagued this team.

And then there’s the expected arrival of Ante Zizic — the promising Croatian 7-footer drafted by the Celtics last year who emerged as the best rebounder in the Euro League once he joined Turkey’s Darussafaka Dogus last winter.
