Nerlens Noel's recent comments have reignited flames that the Sixers may be better off trading their young big or face bringing in a new era with one of their longest tenured players visibly disgruntled. Noel has been linked to plenty of teams throughout the summer, but the Celtics fit seems intriguing based on the Sixers’ perceived need for guards and the Celtics’ need for a defensive center. We've previously discussed a Smart-for-Noel swap, but Smart’s value is probably higher to Boston than it is to Philly, who want a guy who can compliment their current core (aka a guy that can shoot).
