Greg Cassoli: I think Danny Ainge is going to try to have his cake and eat it too, so possibly some sort of hybrid of the these options. If adding Gordon Hayward or Blake Griffin makes the Celtics a super team, then that route seems feasible. Really committing to that path probably means trading the first overall pick as well, which seems less likely. Boston has practiced patience at every decision point since fleecing the Nets for 1,000 picks. I don't expect that to change now.
