BOSTON -- Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins likely wasn't going to finish an alley-oop feed at the rim midway through the third quarter on Sunday, but Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas made sure of it with an emphatic left-handed block on his former teammate.
So, was this the first time the 5-foot-9 Thomas had ever blocked the 6-11 Cousins?
"I did it a couple of times in practice. You can put that on paper," Thomas said after the Celtics' 128-119 win. "No, we were joking around and, when I blocked it, it was good.
