After beginning his career with four seasons with the now Golden State Warriors one of the true legends of the NBA and Hall of Famer Robert Parish joined the Boston Celtics. Parish missed out on the glory days of the 60’s with Bill Russell but he was right there with Larry Bird as the Celtics reclaimed their dominance in the 80’s.
Parish turns 62 years old today and all of Celtics nation should wish him a very happy birthday. Parish had a glorious 14 seasons with the team and those were truly the glory days of his career as he made the all star team in each of the first 7 seasons he was with the team.
