Celtics light up Rajon Rondo, Kings, 128-119

Their defensive reputation aside, the Celtics relied on their firepower in today's 128-119 victory over Sacramento — their fourth straight win and ninth in their last 10.

Avery Bradley, Friday night's hero in Cleveland, erupted with a 25-point performance that included six 3-pointers, to go along with another 22 from Isaiah Thomas on his 27th birthday. Jared Sullinger kicked in 21 on 10-of-13 shooting.

The Celtics watched their lead drop from 21 points to eight courtesy of a 19-4 Sacramento lead in the third quarter. With their defense suffering to such a strange degree, though, the Celtics resumed hitting shots in the fourth, including Bradley's fourth and fifth 3-pointers of the game and an Evan Turner three-point play off the break.
