Recap: Celtics 111, Madrid 96

David Lee logged his first preseason double-double and the Celtics cruised past Real Madrid, 111-96, Thursday afternoon in the Spanish capital.

A Good Acquisition So Far: Lee seemed to force the issue whenever he got the ball, using his strong inside game to acumulate a solid 13 points. His team-high 11 rebounds also gave the Celtics some second chances, perhaps proving early on Boston was smart to trade for him.

A Sign of Things to Come: Isaiah Thomas played pretty much how you would expect him to: aggresively. The 5'9 point guard made sure to avoid unnecessary three-point attempts with quick drives to the rim, racking up 15 points on 6/15 shooting.
