Celtics News: Boston Still Actively Looking To Trade Jeff Green, Brandon Bass

The Boston Celtics are not done making trades this season.

Boston is still “actively looking” to trade Jeff Green and Brandon Bass, Sporting News’ Sean Deveney reported Friday, citing league sources. This is nothing new - both players have been on the block for about a year - but with the trade deadline less than two months away, President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge appears ready to make more deals.

The Celtics sent Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks just a few weeks ago, and there are already rumors about several more deals, proving Ainge and the Celtics aren’t satisfied to rest on the nine first-round draft picks they could have over the next four years.

Even Brandan Wright, whom the Celtics got as part of the Rondo deal, can be moved for the price of a draft pick, according to Sporting News.
