If Cowboys need him, former Boise State QB Kellen Moore: ‘I feel comfortable with it’

Former Boise State great Kellen Moore was a free agent this spring, and there was some chatter the Dallas Cowboys may look for others to either replace or compete with him as the backup quarter. Fast forward to June, and Moore appears firmly entrenched as the No. 2, behind Dak Prescott.

Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan recently said he is very content with Moore backing up the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. Moore has been a hot topic in Dallas, which kicked the tires of some other potential backups, but only has undrafted rookie Cooper Rush and journeyman Zac Dysert on the roster in addition to Prescott.
