We had a bit more of an eventful weekend this week. We got two commits this weekend, one of them being a rare re-commit. After WSU’s D-line coach was hired away by Oregon, Aisa Kelemete flipped back to the Broncos from the Cougs. We also got a big pickup from the Hawaii defensive player of the year Kekaula Kaniho.
We did have one decommit from Madison defensive lineman Zeke Birch. He was slated to be a grey shirt and join the Broncos in 2018. Can’t fault him for pursuing the potential for earlier play time elsewhere, but you never like losing hometown kids.
