Big Ten Spring Recruiting Roundup: The Latest News, Rumors And Commitments

Spring practice is underway for the Big Ten, but that's not the only thing that has the attention of the conference's coaching staff. Recruiting is a year-round affair, and coaches are constantly trying to get themselves in position for a great class. With that in mind, here are the latest news, rumors and commitments in Big Ten recruiting. 

Nebraska Lands Keyshawn Johnson Jr. 
The Cornhuskers landed a verbal commitment from the son of former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson. The younger Johnson is a four-star recruit. 

Ohio State Gets Visit From Five-Star QB
The Ohio State Buckeyes received a visit from five-star QB Tate Martell Thursday. Martell is committed to Texas A&M, but started taking visits when the Aggies switched offensive coordinators. 

Michigan Planning Satellite Camp In Georgia
Jim Harbaugh is adding another stop to his "Swamp Tour" satellite camps. Michigan added one in Cedar Grove in June. The location is just 75 miles away from the Georgia Bulldogs' campus. 

Spartans Offer Four-Star Athlete  
MSU has extended a scholarship offer to Tyrell Ajian. He's a four-star athlete and the No. 211 player in the nation. 

Penn State Hosting Five This Weekend
The Nittany Lions are hosting five players from Michigan's Cass Tech this weekend. CB Donovan Johnson, S DeAndre Square, OL Jordan Reid, athlete Kalon Gervin and LB Zach Morton are the five coming. Gervin and Square are 2018 recruits, while the rest are in the class of 2017. Johnson and Gervin already have offers from PSU.
