NEW YORK – All six BIG EAST men’s lacrosse teams had a week of rest as none played midweek games. Four of the six teams are at home this weekend.
Denver remains No. 1 in both the coaches and media polls, although the Pioneers are tied with Maryland in the Inside Lacrosse poll. Denver (2-0) continues on its current six-game home stand hosting Cleveland State this weekend. Saturday’s contest is part of the Faceoff Classic. 2017 is Canisius’ first season of competition. The head coach is former DU assistant and son-in-law of head coach Bill Tierney, Dylan Sheridan.
