Ontario’s Jahvon Blair committed to the Georgetown Hoyas earlier Friday, giving new head coach Patrick Ewing his very first commit.
The news of Blair’s commitment was first reported by college hoops insider Adam Zagoria.
The 2017 guard is a three-star player per 247Sports’ recruiting service, ranking second in the province of Ontario behind Syracuse Orange commit O’Shae Brissett. Blair had received interest from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as well but instead will make the venture down to The Hilltop instead.
The addition of Blair gives Georgetown two official commits as he joins three-star wing Antwan Walker.
