Season report card: Kansas State Wildcats

Kansas State capped its nine-win season with a victory over Texas A&M in the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl.

Below is a closer look at K-State's year with the Wildcats' season report card:

Offense: B-

The Wildcats wound up averaging a respectable 32.2 points per game, which was good enough for fifth in the Big 12. After a slow start, quarterback Jesse Ertz improved dramatically over the second half of the season and finished with more than 1,000 yards rushing. Alex Barnes emerged as a lethal wingman in the backfield in November.
