Former Baylor wide receiver and Allen product Jay Lee has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Detroit Lions, according to the Allen High School touchdown club.
Lee was a productive receiver for Baylor during his five years on campus, compiling 101 receptions for 1,700 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was never a star, but Lee was an essential piece in Baylor's uptempo offense. He could be even better in the Bears' uptempo offense.
While his numbers weren't as gaudy as others at Baylor, Lee potentially could be a better fit in the NFL.
