Reports: Matt Elam Arrested In Florida On Drug Charges

Ravens pending free agent safety Matt Elam was reportedly arrested in Miami early Sunday morning on drug charges, according to Pro Football Talk.

Elam, 25, was booked on charges of possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to sell or deliver, and possession of a controlled substance, per the report.

Elam was the Ravens’ first-round draft pick in 2013, but has struggled to find his way since then.

The Florida product started 15 games as a rookie and made 77 tackles and one interception, but lost his starting job during the 2014 season and missed all of 2015 with a torn biceps.
