NFL.com’s Conor Orr analyzed the most run-happy and pass-happy teams of last season. He looked at first-and-10, second-and-10 and third-and-one; and listed the most pass-happy, run-happy and balanced teams during those plays.
It should not surprise many of you that Baltimore was listed twice as pass-happy; first-and-10 and second-and-10. They were not listed as anything for third-and-one. First-and-10, the Ravens passed the ball 54.9% of the time, which was the third highest, as per NFL.com. Second-and-10, Baltimore passed it 70% of the time, which was tied for third with the Colts, as per NFL.
