Browns second-round QB DeShone Kizer said he’s been glued to HC Hue Jackson’s hip in an attempt to fast-track his development.
“It’s great,” Kizer said, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “It’s exactly what I expected when I got brought over to this club. Coach Jackson … said that’s exactly how he goes about his quarterbacks and he’s held up to it.”
Kizer added that working so closely with Jackson will hopefully lead to him seeing playing time sooner than later.
“It allows me to start my learning curve a little faster when you have the guy who’s calling the plays, the guy who’s created this offense … teaching you every day the fundamentals,” Kizer said.
