Orioles recap: Early six-run hole proves too deep in loss to Indians

The Orioles faced an uphill climb early against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday.

Orioles right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez lasted just 12/3 innings as the Orioles fell behind by six runs after two innings in an eventual 11-4 loss to the Indians at Progressive Field.

Jimenez's outing — he allowed six runs, three of them earned, on five hits and three walks — was his shortest in more than three seasons.

Their loss in Cleveland on Saturday ensured that the Orioles will complete their three-city, nine-game road trip to Anaheim, Houston and Cleveland with a losing record.
