Orioles pitching prospect Hunter Harvey to see specialist after second setback with groin

Orioles top pitching prospect Hunter Harvey has suffered another setback as he tries to return to affiliated ball after a pair of injury-hit seasons, again feeling symptoms of a groin strain after Thursday’s extended spring training game in Sarasota, Fla., manager Buck Showalter said.

“Hunter Harvey came in after his outing and, as they said, was showing symptoms of the groin again the next day,” Showalter said. “I think they’re sending him to a specialist to see what’s going on there, to see if there’s something more than a groin.
