The Orioles signed right-hander Logan Ondrusek to a major league deal Friday and designated right-hander Chaz Roe for assignment.
Ondrusek, 31, went 8-3 with a 2.17 ERA in 102 relief appearances with the Yakult Swallows of the Japan Central League over the past two seasons, including a 3-1 record and 2.45 ERA in 30 games this season.
