Center fielder Adam Jones was at the center of it all for the Orioles in their 3-2, walk-off win over the Colorado Rockies on Monday. He drove in their first two runs, had two hits, and scored the game winner.
It’s how he set up that third run, however, that’s a point of great personal enjoyment for Jones and demonstartes something the Orioles have quietly done well this season. Jones went from first to third on a single -- taking an extra base for the 12th time this season, a mark only five players in the majors have outdone this year.
