Orioles notes: Chris Davis surrenders after White Sox rob him of another homer

After being robbed of a home run for the second consecutive game Sunday afternoon, Chris Davis reached for the nearest white towel inside the Orioles dugout and waved it in surrender.

Home run-saving catches don't occur very often, let alone to the same player on back-to-back days, but that's what happened to Davis.

Davis, who has a team-high 18 homers on the season, could take solace in the fact that J.B. Shuck's grab over the left-field fence in the eighth inning on Sunday didn't cost the Orioles the game. The Orioles were well in control of their 9-1 win over the White Sox.
